It's time to tell you more about me, I manage this page with my family - Hello, my name is Nicky and after finding a blend of tested essential oils to support my overall digestive health, I knew I needed to learn more. I was so excited to try other blends available to support different aspects of our health and wellbeing. I now share these amazing oils with others after the significant impacts it had on our family. I’m keen to tell you more and offer you a FREE sample to try at home and to watch an online class to learn more ways to use these oils. We use do-TERRA products, who’s mission is to share pure, quality essential oils with the world. However, without a definitive standard for essential oil purity, do-TERRA decided to pave the way in the essential oil industry.

I’m often asked, does essential oil purity matter ? and yes it does. If you use an oil that has been adulterated, contaminated, or loaded with synthetic fillers, you will not receive the full natural benefit of the plant. And in some cases, low-quality oils can even be dangerous and pose serious threats to your health. If you purchase an oil that says pure on the label, do you really know what else is in the bottle ?

This is why do-TERRA cares so deeply about essential oil purity. If you use an impure oil, it can be difficult to feel the benefits of the oil and can possibly put your health at risk. However, when you use pure, unadulterated essential oils, they’ll be more effective, and you can stay within the bounds of safe use.

This was so important to me when I started to use the oils, as I would be using these products on my children and wanted to know that they would be safe and effective for them.

The first blend I used was zengest, which is well-known for it’s ability to soothe occasional stomach upset and promote overall digestive health. This unique blend contains Ginger, Fennel and Coriander essential oils beneficial for motion sickness and overall stomach discomfort. It is great to have it on hand to support us when we over indulged on our All inclusive holidays.

Air was the second blend we tried as a family and consists of Laurel Leaf, Peppermint, Eucalyptus, Melaleuca, Lemon, Ravensara, and Cardamom essential oils. For the best results, we apply dō-TERRA Air to our chests to help cool, invigorate, and promote feelings of easy breathing. When my daughter was on a ski trip at high altitude, she used Air to calm her senses and promote easy breathing at high levels.

We also love the Lavender blend, which has a distinct aroma and can be used in various situations, Lavender has been used for centuries. We add Lavender to bath water with bath salts to promote relaxation or apply to the temples and back of the neck. In addition, we need lavender to soothe cuts and stings after playing in the garden.

One of our favourites is the Deep Blue’s blend which includes Wintergreen, Peppermint, Blue Tansy, Blue Chamomile and Helichrysum which can be applied topically to provide a soothing and cooling sensation. This is perfect for a comforting massage. Deep Blue is great rubbed on our lower back muscles after a busy day on your feet at work. We like to keep it in our gym bags for use before and after workouts.

Lemon has multiple benefits and uses. When added to water, Lemon provides a refreshing and healthy boost throughout the day. We often add to bicarbonate soda and sprinkle it on our carpets and later hoover it up for a refreshing aroma and it removes the dog smell. Hence, lemon is one of my favourite oils to clean with, mixed in a spray bottle it's perfect to clean the bathrooms.

dōTERRA On Guard, a proprietary essential oil blend, provides a natural and effective alternative for immune support. We use this to support our body’s natural defences against seasonal threats. We have this in a diffuser daily, apply it to our skin and take it internally to boost it’s effects.

The fresh and woody aroma of Balance is a perfect go-to-oil when you need a little harmony in your life. The Spruce, Ho Wood, Frankincense, Blue Tansy, and Blue Chamomile blend is perfect with Fractionated Coconut Oil to offer a grounding fragrance. Apply to your neck and wrists to promote feelings of harmony. We also love to add Wild Orange with Balance to energize and uplift the mind and body during emotionally challenging times.
